Grape varieties 85% Sangiovese and the rest Syrah and Merlot. But old grape varieties such as Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, Malvasia, Colorino, and Alicante are also used. The bottom is sandy and former seabed.
And apparently something special comes from that. In production since 1978.
This wine has soft tannins and is very accessible.

Cantina Morisfarms
Despite the fact that Tuscan wine scores well internationally, it is striking that Cantina Morisfarms continues to focus on the local market and strives for quality. The Spanish Moris family, who settled in Tuscany 300 years ago, owns two domains in the southern part of Tuscany and is called Maremma. The prevailing grape variety is of course the Sangiovese for the red wines.
