According to many (international) wine professionals, Cantina Fontanassa is one of the best Gavi's, a Gavi with a slightly fuller and longer aftertaste than usual and made very precisely. The price/quality ratio is unusually good for this wine. Marco Gemme, owner and winemaker of Fontanassa is one of the few Gavi's producers who are members of Circuito Golden Gavi; the association in which only the best Gavi winegrowers may join.

Fontanassa owns 42 hectares, 27 of which are vineyards.
